Mr. Glenn Walsh,

This is a follow-up email to the written letter you
should have received from
the AAAP Executive Committee earlier this week.
In addition to the letter, I am notifying you that
your AAAP Listserver privileges have been temporarily
suspended until June 11th.
On that date if it is determined that you have
complied with the letter exactly
as specified, your Listserver privileges will be
restored.
These instructions from the AAAP Executive Committee
are non-negotiable.

Dear Mr. Walsh,

As the President of the Amateur Astronomers
Association of Pittsburgh, Inc.
(AAAP), I am sending you this letter to inform you
that the AAAP Executive
Committee is officially directing you to immediately
remove from your 'Friends
of the Zeiss' website all references to the AAAP.

We have found your statements listed in the section
'Friends of the Zeiss RFP
Response 2002 May 22 Page VIII-4' concerning the
events surrounding the Zeiss
and the Siderostat and the position taken by the AAAP
Executive Committee
regarding them to be both inaccurate and misleading.

Additionally, you are instructed to send a letter of
retraction of your Request
for Proposals (RFP) to the City of Pittsburgh, and
remove all references to the
AAAP prior to any possible resubmission of the RFP.
You will mail to me at the
below address a copy of said retraction as proof of
compliance.

These instructions from the AAAP Executive Committee
are non-negotiable.
Failure to comply by June 11th will result in the
termination of your membership
in the AAAP.
We do not rule out other possible actions against you.

Sincerely,

Larry E McHenry, President
Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh
