Subject: Re: [FOTZ] Buhl Hearing WED.- News Release

Hi Glenn,

I lived in Pittsburgh when I was quite young and
one of the most enjoyable things I liked to do was
to visit the Buhl Planetarium, which I did quite
frequently. It was such a pleasure seeing the
various displays, not to mention the theater
of the stars. I never tired of this experience.
What was particularly moving to me was the
inscription on the outside of the building:

THE HEAVENS DECLARE THE GLORY OF
GOD AND THE FIRMAMENT SHEWETH HIS
HANDIWORK....

It is a real tragedy that this inscription has been
removed. The people who did this must have been
mad. To further desecrate this wonderful building
and its contents would be unforgivable. The city
council must move to protect it and its contents,
and possibly to restore it to it's original
configuration.

Sincerely,

Kirk Davies
