Science center employees relocating
After 52 years at the Buhl Science Center at Allegheny Square on Pittsburgh's North Side, staff of the well-known cultural and educational facility will be moving to newer, more lavish quarters next week.
Approximately 25 staff members, including the administration, marketing, exhibit and technical services begin their long-awaited relocation to the new $37 million Carnegie Science Center near Three Rivers Stadium Monday, according to officials.
The new science center is expected to open this fall.
